There were 3 different cap types used on the Alpha One / Pre-Alpha / R / MR / Gen I units manufactured between 1967-1990 1967-1969 (MC-1) - This used cap 46780A1
just make sure that the opening is the correct size (2-5/8" and not 3" found on MerCarb and bigger 2bbl Rochester applications)
